About the PDG

The Professional Drivers Group (PDG) was created by a group of professional short-course off-road drivers who saw the need for a unified voice in the decision making process of off-road racing series. Out of that, several meetings were held and the PDG was formed. The vision and goals of the PDG are being developed but the ultimate goal is to provide input into making off-road racing the best and most exciting racing for the fans and provide a viable marketing alternative to potential sponsors. The PDG is indorsed by THE Off Road Championship Series (TORC) Series. Driver boards for TORC will be made up of PDG members in each racing class. Members are free to race any other series.

Who can join?

If you strap into an off-road racing vehicle, whether it is an 850 HP truck or a grassroots 4x4, you qualify to be a member of the PDG. Also, supporters such as crew members, sponsors, and media can be a part of the PDG.

Why join?

As a PDG member, you will have the right to vote on a variety of issues that effect you as a driver. These decisions will be passed on to series promoters as a unified voice in order to effect decisions. You will also be part of a communication network that will keep you in the loop of things happening in the sport.

There are many other benefits in the works for the PDG membership such as special rates on test days at tracks, sponsorship resources, media events, safety classes, and scholarship programs, just to name a few.
